Garrett McNamara

Garrett McNamara is a legend in the big wave world. He is the pioneer who put Nazare, Portugal on the map and was the first ever to surf waves generated from a 300ft calving glacier. He is the Guiness World Record holder for the largest wave ever surfed and received the prestigious Vasco de Gama medal of honor from the Portuguese Navy. He travels the world in search for the biggest waves he can find and in his spare time takes autistic children surfing with Surfers for Autism and holds and annual beach cleanup.
